PROJECT SUMMARY:

Griffin Creek Elementary was built in 1902.  It has undergone a heating/ventilation and air conditioning upgrade, flooring replacement, roofing, security upgrade and is now connected to city water.  Prior to renovations, some classrooms did not have air conditioning.  By upgrading the heating & ventilation and installing flooring instead of carpet, classrooms will have less allergens while contributing to better air quality for students.  Flooring is also found to last 30-40 years instead of carpet which lasts 10-15, and is easier to maintain.  The interior and exterior of the school has been repainted.
